Graduation Celebration Event

17 December 2021, Organised by AustCham China and supported by the Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu, the Graduation Celebration Event was successfully held at Fairmont Chengdu. Students accompanied by their family members and friends
were able to celebrate their achievement with a night full of joy and excitement.

Australian Consul-General in Chengdu Adelle Neary, AustCham West China Chairman Richard Beach, and AustCham China Chair Vaughn Barber delivered addresses on the evening.

Andy LIU represents Times Education Holdings attended this event.

2021 Commonwealth Christmas Dinner

On 11th December, the 2021 Commonwealth Christmas Dinner, was organized in partnership by AustCham West China and BritCham Southwest China at Fairmont Chengdu. Over three hundred guests joined this festive event to celebrate Christmas with new and old friends.

The Chairman of AustCham West China Mr. Richard Beach and the Chairman of BritCham SW Ms. Harriet Sheffer delivered the welcome speech.
Then we heard from Australian Consul-General in Chengdu, Ms. Adelle Neary,and the Deputy Consul-General of British Consulate Chongqing,
Mr. Tim Standbrook, who both extended their best wishes to the community. at Fairmont Chengdu. Over three hundred guests joined this festive
event to celebrate Christmas with new and old friends.

The platinum sponsor of the event – Chengdu BOE Hospital General and other gold sponsors representatives, including AustCham Members Times Education Holdings,
Australian Eastern Elevator Group, OzDragon, Fairmont Chengdu, were invited on the stage to give a toast to the guests.

Times Education invited to attend the reception with Educational Partners, held at the Residence of the General Consul of Australia in Chengdu China

On the evening of December 9, 2021, at the invitation of Ms Adelle Neary, the Australian Consul General in Chengdu, Andy Liu, Chief Executive Officer of China Region, attended the Education Partners Welcome Exchange Reception held at the Consul General’s residence on behalf of Times Education Group Australia. The reception was attended by Ms Adelle Neary, Consul General of Chengdu, Mr Rhett Miller, Deputy Consul General (Commercial), Mr Richard Adams, Consul, representatives of state governments and colleagues from the education sector in Western China.

Consul General Adelle delivered a welcome speech, saying that the Australian government, the Australian Consulate in Chengdu will continue to expand the Australian education brand and help Australian schools and enterprises to promote Sino-Australian educational exchanges. Deputy Consul General (Commercial), Commissioner of Commerce and Investment Rhett made a speech and shared the data and information on the enrollment of international students in various institutions in Australia in the past year.

Andy Liu, the chief executive of China Region, was honored to speak as a representative of the meeting, and introduced Australia Times Education Group, the main business of China Region to the guests. 2021 Tourism Training Australia Trainer of the year. What a significant milestone. Mr. Hernan Chanique, our hospitality management trainer from Wells International College, was awarded “2021 Trainer in the Area of Hospitality Management”.

We are pleased to celebrate this achievement with Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Lee, Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education, New South Wales.

A very well-deserved win, and what a way to wrap up the year for Times Education Group.

COVID-19 vaccinations are free

The Australian Government is committed to ensuring everyone in Australia will have access to the vaccination when it’s their turn – this includes international students who are studying in Australia.


COVID-19 vaccines are free for everyone in Australia regardless of Medicare or visa status.

If students don’t have a Medicare card, or are not eligible for Medicare, they can get a free vaccination at:

• a Commonwealth Vaccination Clinic

• state or territory vaccination clinic.

The vaccine is voluntary, and everyone is encouraged to get a vaccine to help protect the community from COVID-19.
